Last year, the Mississippi Legislature passed “The Children’s Promise Act” which provides a dollar for dollar tax credit to individuals and businesses who give to a qualified charity. Through this act, you can give to Mississippi Families for Kids and receive your tax credit!
Steps to Make a Difference Using The Children’s Promise Act
1. Download and submit the application for tax allocation.
2. Donate to MS Families for Kids! Up to $1,000 will be matched on your MS state tax return.
3. Send your gift certification form to the MSDOR with your 2019 Mississippi tax return.
