Reflecting on Our Easter Giveaway: A Heartwarming Success

As we look back on our Easter Giveaway event held on March 29, 2024, we are filled with gratitude and pride for the community we serve. The event was part of our Relatives Raising Others’ Children (RROC) kinship support program and was a heartwarming success, bringing joy to our caregivers and their families.

The Easter Giveaway was a drive-thru event at our Jackson location, where families received Easter bags filled with goodies and treats. Over 125 children were delighted to receive their Easter surprises, and many took the opportunity to capture the moment with a photo alongside the Easter Bunny and our special guest, Camden “Miss Franklin, Tennessee” Morris.

The event was made possible by the dedication of about 20 staff members and volunteers who came together to spread joy and support. One caregiver shared, “It was very rewarding to see the smiles, laughter, kindness, and love among the families and staff. The Easter Giveaway was important to me as a parent and grandma.”

As we reflect on this event, we are reminded of the power of community and the importance of coming together to support one another. The smiles, laughter, and love we witnessed are a testament to the impact we can make when we work together.
