Help Me Grow bridges the gap between child healthcare, early care, education, and family support to offer comprehensive physician and community outreach, centralized information, and access to referral centers. Providers can:

  • Refer patients to Help Me Grow for our team to follow up with a developmental screening (completed in a “play” environment)and/or appropriate resources
  • Use our Ages and Stages questionnaire to screen patients’ development at their office
  • Access our database of resources to help educate your patients

What happens from Referral to Followup?

Step 1

Family initiates contact with us to schedule a screening or attends a Screening Event happening nearby.

If you are interested in hosting a screening event at your Church, Business, or Town Hall, please Contact Us.

Step 2

We provide a Free screening for their child(ren) (ages 0-5) through play and active & passive engagement techniques.

Step 3

We then connect or refer the family to partners, just like you, local to their area to assist with the challenges of parenting.

Step 4

We then make contact with the Partners to relay all pertinent, and allowable, information regarding the Family and their specific needs as it relates to your specialty and/or focus.

Step 5

We will provide ongoing screenings and support to the family through various programs and initiatives and maintain specific communication regarding ongoing treatments with partners as we are able.

Tools Used in Developmental Screening

Help Me Grow uses the ASQ-3 and ASQ:SE-2 in English and Spanish.  The questionnaires include questions about your child's ability to calm down, take direction and follow rules, communicate, perform daily activities (e.g. eating, sleeping), act independently, demonstrate feelings, and interact with others.

The Ages & Stages Questionnaires®-Third Edition
The ASQ-3 is a great tool for you that helps to reveal your child's strengths, uncover any areas of concern, and determine if there are community resources or services that may be useful for your child or your family.

ASQ:SE-2

Ages and Stages Questionnaires®: Social Emotional- Second Edition
The ASQ:SE-2 is a questionnaire focusing on behavior and social-emotional development in young children, and makes sure they are on schedule.  It helps you celebrate milestones while addressing any concerns as early as possible.
