Celebrating 25 Years of Impact: Join us in making a difference for Mississippi Families

Throughout the past quarter-century, MFFK has championed the well-being of Mississippi’s children and families. Our approach focuses on addressing every facet of a child’s life to combat critical issues such as poverty, homelessness, foster care influx, abuse, trafficking, and educational delays.

Our range of services includes:

• Adoption, foster, and kinship care support
• Early childhood developmental resources and services
• Child and family therapy, mental health services, and peer support
• Respite care
• Legislation and policy advocation
• Parent and educator behavior and classroom management training

We’ve:

• Served over 13,000 Mississippians, reaching every area of the state
• Developed the C.A.R.E. program in response to the COVID crisis- 15 care sites established, 150 students enrolled, as well as 300 educators and caregivers served
• Received the “Nonprofit of the Year” award from the Mississippi Business Journal
• Trained over 3,500 educators, social workers, and caregivers on child behavior
• Placed 200 foster and adoptive children as well as licensed 106 families
